Spring is here!

It was a long wait for the nicer weather.

One day, we feel like winter is gone, and the next day, it's snowing and brutally cold.

Now the last week of April, we are seeing showers and milder days.

Still, I am not comfortable starting the gardening.

Last week, I got the cataract removed from my left eye. The right eye has it too, but it is not big enough to be removed.

Now the problem is that the old glasses are troubling me. The specialist advised getting new glasses. It is already bothering, and I booked an appointment with an optometrist. The latest appointment they gave me is next week. Then it may take another 15 days to get the glasses.

Still, I am glad the recovery is going well.

Sunshine beanie

I was thinking of making a beanie! It was headbands for some time.  The pattern is made with double crochets and single crochets. However, the result is a very textured and interesting triangle design. This airy pattern can be made using different colours to create stripes too.

It took me a while to come up with the stitch count for the design. This is a free gift for those love to create textured beanies for the next Christmas markets.

I know, it is the beginning of spring.

But in Toronto, we are expecting more snow this week.  Perhaps you would really like a warmer beanie! What is your preference for now?
