Egyption Links: an inspiration

I was really thinking of doing some crochet. I wanted to create some squares and triangles for my new project. But, as usual, my fingers started to get hurting and I decided to do something else for a while. I wanted to do some wire jewelry. Actually wanted to create some hearts. While on search I stumbled on some you tube videos.
The video is about making Egyption links. To tell you frankly, I have seen those pictures some where before.I remember seeing the pattern of the necklace in some books or was it a mag?
I can't remember. But it got my fancy today.So I start to work with some copper wire. Copper is easy on my hands and good medium to try out things before using silver.


The links are turning out well. I would like to add some beads and to create an earring for a quick project.
