Just a peek through the window will help to get an idea of the snow.
Look at the town houses below. I went to the balcony to get this one.
For some inspiration, I just decided to look in my bead stash. Sure, I need to start doing something with my stash. It is taking much valuable space from my dresser. It is creating big clutter feelings to my hubby. So I put them away in zip lock bags and containers.
Since nobody home to get disturbed, I can take all out and have some fun.
The Craft n'things mag had a bracelet featured using ribbon elastic. I got an idea to make something from my stash. Just a simple bracelet on a stretchy cord...But it makes me happy and proud.
Then I got my eyes on the red seed beads. The big earring hoops were waiting for a Bindu Design twist for long time. See what some red seed beads and 26 gauge wire can do to an otherwise plane round hoops!!!
It took me some time to wrap the wire and beads around. I was thinking of adding few red beads on a headpin while doing the wrapping to create some movement to the hoops. Then, thinking of too much things on the hoop, i decided against it. The finished version is here...
I really enjoyed this calm snowy day. Now it is time to tidy up and put my tools and beads away.
What a nice way to spend some peace and quiet, making such lovely things. Amazing views from your (very high) balcony!
