Paper chains and potato stamping

I got some fall colored flyers on the mail. I loved the color. Sometimes the junk mail will catch your eye because of the color they used.
This one is no exception. My kid wanted to throw the flyer out in the thrash. I did want to keep it. Just another of mom's crazy craft idea or is it going to be added to the clutter already in the boxes? She might be wondered...

I had ideas to make some paper chains. I am not good in freehand drawing. But give it a try anyway...right?

I showed my daughter. She  said they are nice, in a teenage way. I told her she can use some if she wanted to make a special note to decorate or some thing like that. she thought that is a great ides.

I bought a new small book for myself, just to write things down whenever I needed to.

I was also itching to try potato stamping. I thought a heart will be easy to cut on a potato. Ya, sure it was easy. I have some paint in the clutter box, which wasn't used for some time. So, what you think I did?

Heart stamps and paper chain... Since they are all made by me, they are adorable to me. If you are good in drawing nicely, you can make nice images. Just be careful not to cut them to separate. The key is to fold the paper several times and draw a picture that is not getting cut all the way.
