Free-form Crochet

I have seen many crochet artists doing free-form crochet

So many amazing pieces on Instagram and Pinterest! 

I saw a video on Craftsy about it recently. So, here is my first try of making a small free-form heart motif! 

 It begins with a magic ring and single crochet on the ring. I used Sc, dc, dc and treble stitches to get the heart shape. 

I didn’t note down how I made it. Going with the image in your mind is the fun part of free-form crochet.
