It is fun to experiment with foam sheets. Remember the last post? Today, it is fun time again.
So I made two more simple designs.
The first one is made by pressing the top of a marker. Then I draw with pencil on top of it to make the marks more clear. The second one is hand drawn with pencil. I tried it on printed paper already. You can see they are used and pint is still on them.
There is one more I have made today. I cut the sheet with paper scissors in wave pattern. Then glued them on a piece of cardstock. I haven't tried it yet.
Bindu Designs
It's a great way to express texture and wonderful that you are using recycled materials! I've seen some very creative mixed media designs that incorporated discarded gum wrappers.

ReplyDeleteButtons are great to use. You can also use the bottom of a can, leaves, the bottom of one of those click pens (the kind that click in and out),the roll tape is on, take an old plastic card like a credit card and cut the edge into a shape with some scissors. You could also use an old playing card edge the same way but it is not as stiff and an old credit card. Also before I forget, I love your pages today Bindhu.

These are great! I want to go try some of my own. I bet my kids would really enjoy this project too, so thanks for giving me an idea to try with them this summer. What kind of paint (or ink?) do you use to print them?
