Hooky Butterflies, flowers....

I actually was going to make a rectangular place-mat from an old issue of
Interweave Crochet mag. Even though  the skill level suggested was "easy", I could figure it out. So I went to a butterfly pattern with diagrams from another old crochet magazine. I was able to figure out them easily. So, got hooked and made a few in 2 sizes.
May be in the future, I will be able to make a pattern of butterfly by myself. They are so adorable and cute. They represent hope and spring and flowers and everything happy and colorful...

Did I say too much??

Meanwhile, I was able to make a pincushion, all crocheted up...yey it is me...I did it. a way tiny pincushion....

She is only 3 inches...Granny chic..isn't she? I put her in my shop, even though she was done on a whim.
Now I love to make more, in all spring and summer colors...
Speaking of spring, I was able to make few flowers...I wanted to make more of them.
While my kiddoo is pondering about her career choices and choosing courses for final years of high school...(It is real stress for me too..what should I tell her? Do what you love and hope for the best like me???) I am taking the stress off with a hook and a lot of yarns....
