Pear sauce

My family love the crunchy pears. When I bring them home from the weekend grocery shopping, they will be crunchy. Two days later, they are getting softer and they are getting the ripe yellow color. Then they are not great for my family.
I found that I can make a bit of pear sauce with them.
Here is my recipe for Pear Sauce:
3 ripped pears
1 table spoon lemon juice ( I used the Realemon)
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
4 tablespoon of sugar
1/4 cup water

Peel, core and chop the pears. I chopped them really small. Put them in a pan over medium heat. Add the lemon juice. Stir them so they don't burn. If needed add the the 1/4 cup water, may be less. The point is not to burn the pear. When the fruit is getting cooked and looking very tender, mash them using a potato masher. Add the ginger, cinnamon and the sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring often. When it reaches a sauce consistency remove from fire.
If you make it more thicker, it will taste better.
