Crocheted washcloth

The weekend is over and I made a new Photo tent to take pictures of my creation. I was surfing on the net and got lost. I did find some time to crochet though. I am glad that I made couple of friends at crochetme.com.
I made a few washcloths today. I really think, the sponges are not that great to clean my dishes.
My washcloths are created in cotton and they have got a raised texture on them.
Aren't they lovely?

I love the light and dark blues making the stripes. Can you see the raised texture there? I am still thinking, should I make a loop for hanging? Should I make them doubled for extra thickness?
Maybe I will make one tomorrow in double thickness. For the time being, I am happy with the end result.
The pattern is like this. Chain 18, then make additional 2 chains for turning.
Do half double crochet on each of the chains in the foundation row. To create the texture, crochet on the back loops only.
Hope that helps! If you can't make it and like the one I made, you can always go to my studio to buy.
