Adam Giambrone,Mayor of Toronto?

Adam Giambrone is known as the Chair of TTC for the past years. He is the City councilor from ward 18 and the youngest councilor of Toronto city. He became TTC chairman after in 2006. I am glad to know that he is running for Mayor of Toronto. Will he bring changes to Toronto?

People of Toronto know him by face, but I don’t think many people knew that he has worked as an archeologt !. Giambrone studies at the McGill university and was active in politics as an NDP member. At age 24, he became the first youngest president of a Canadian political party.

He is the brain behind the the Transit City and the Light Rapid Rail Trancit also called the LRT. It is to move more people faster through the city.

We are so bitter about the recent fair increase by the TTC. When people of Scarborough approached him with the troubles of this increase, he was very keen to listen and surprised them by the stories of his own misery. He told them he cannot renegotiate the ad contracts before 2011 and has to pay to the employees according to the city’s contract with the employees union and he has no other way to get money.

Since I started writing about him, I found out that he was born in Ontario in 1977. Now magazine awarded Giambrone “Best Politician” award in 2008.
